Website
EAST. does not use advertising, behavioural tracking, third-party analytics, or public user accounts on this website.
The services used to host, deliver, and protect the website may automatically process limited technical information such as your IP address, browser or device type, requested pages, timestamps, and security or error logs. This information is used only as necessary to operate, secure, and maintain the website.
The website currently uses Netlify for hosting and delivery and Sanity for content management.
Contact
If you contact EAST. by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, which may include your name, email address, message, and any attachments.
We use this information only to respond to your request, provide support, or address an issue relating to the website, the app, or an Object.
Support correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and meet any applicable legal obligations.
EAST. iOS App
The EAST. app does not require you to create an account.
In the current version of the app, saved wisdoms and personal reflections are stored locally on your device. EAST. does not receive, read, or store the content of your reflections.
If you purchase Keeper, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. EAST. does not receive your full payment-card details. Apple may process account, device, transaction, and purchase information in accordance with Apple’s own privacy practices.
Removing the app or deleting its local data may remove locally stored wisdoms and reflections.
Physical Objects
The EAST. website does not process payments or complete physical-product orders.
When you select View on Etsy, you leave the EAST. website and continue to Etsy. Etsy processes information associated with checkout, payment, shipping, and your Etsy account under its own privacy policy.
As the seller, EAST. may receive limited order, contact, and delivery information required to fulfil your purchase, provide support, handle a return, or meet legal and accounting obligations.
Orders may also be shared with Printify and the relevant production or delivery partners solely as necessary to manufacture, fulfil, and ship the purchased Object.
Cookies and Tracking
The public EAST. website does not intentionally use advertising cookies, behavioural-tracking technologies, or third-party analytics cookies.
If this changes in the future, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before those technologies are enabled.
Third-party services that you choose to visit, including Etsy, Apple, YouTube, and IMDb, operate under their own privacy and cookie policies.
Retention
Personal information is kept only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to support requests, fulfilling orders, preventing misuse, and meeting legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
Information stored locally inside the EAST. app remains on your device until you remove it through the app, delete the app’s data, or uninstall the app.
